Ran out of steam a bit this week. Probably should have been a three parter.
Would agree with this. Not a patch on the first three but overall a great show
BTW some of the electrical wiring is disgraceful! They might have no choice other than to move because the whole place could go up in flames at any moment. Probably the damp is the only thing preventing the lot going up in smoke!
Such as shame to see a World Heritage site in such a sad state though.
Regardless of how low regard the occupants are held, I would hope that the public would support moving all the Lords, MPs etc out and finally sorting out this important historical building once and for all.
£9000 to hire out the dining room for a day...phew!!!!
Probably the going rate in central London for a top end venue. And that will be before the cost of food and drink. Just try booking a whole dining room for 100 people at the Ritz or Savoy and see what it costs.
Evening all, I can't believe there's an MP that has been one since 1959..I can't believe he has held the same seat for that long..he really must have a safe and boring seat.
Peter Tapsell has held a couple of different seats in that time and was also absent from the House for a couple of years during the 1960s. He has been in the House continuously since 1966. That is some achievement.

I entirely agree. Ironic to see Jack Straw chairing a meeting.

Oh my. You should see Anna Soubry's denial of this - in full. And I mean it is FULL! LOL. Scroll down the page to see it. In Full.
I'm not going to copy it out (especially not in full) just in case she wants to sue me as well.:D
I absolutely loathe the woman but, even so, I cannot imagine that she'd ever say such a thing in the House. I doubt any of them would, in fact.
Strange that she has refused the chance to view the footage.
