He's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. I've seen him perform live on tv a few times and he's actually very good live. I was just flicking through the music channels and they were playing all his hits. I was surprised...literally every song he's released I knew and was a decent pop song. I think he's good at what he does, catchy, good pop songs and hits. Doesn't try to be someone he's not.

Whatcha Say
In My Head
Ridin Solo
What If
Don't Wanna Go Home
It Girl
The Other Side
Talk Dirty
Trumpets
Stupid Love

He isn't awful granted but I don't quite what it is but he is the epitome of Naff. His music has no real substance or is even in anyway that good, he is just so very very very beige.

Also shout out for Imogen Heap her hook makes whatcha say.

He seems nice but sometimes he just feels like a Chris Brown clone like even when he's performing like he constantly takes his top off like everyone wants to see what's underneath. I cant get into his music either but I do like Whatcha Say.

Ridin' Solo was such a huge hit, and I think it's his best song.

LOL :D that will follow him forever.

I really like In My Head and Don't Wanna Go Home, but agree the songs don't really have any meaning etc. He seems like a nice person though and I would rather purchase his records than Chris Brown.

he should stay away from the ballads (What If/Stupid Love) but most of his songs (mainly In My Head and The Other Side) are catchy tunes. But he's not very memorable, just safe...

He also reminds me of Chris Brown aswell.

BTW, his re-package of the Tattoos album, Talk Dirty is released on April 15th.

please. chris browns music is infinitely better than de rulo.

De Rulo has some great songs, but i simply cannot abide his latest trash.

He's got some good songs, and had some success as a singles artist. The problem he's got is that he's really struggled to sell albums. Perhaps this will change when his current one is released in America next month.

He is an awful pop star. Very disposable
Auto tuned to the max. There is zero re-deeming features that make you think talented is a word to associate him with

You're calling someone awful and then quoting Steps, oh the irony!

    Nice post edit!

I couldn't care less about him, just that when you compare the two, Steps make him look like Marvin Gaye!

    I saw your original reply.

No you didn't compare, I did, and it wasn't kind to steps. I'm not entirely sure what trouble you're referring too, I think you need to take a deep breath and calm yourself.

Haven't got a clue what original reply you are on about and whatever made up thing i apparently put but didn't, have fun with it.

He has some hugely catchy pop songs but I can't say I'll remember him in 10 years..

I think he is a good popstar, he's released three consistently listenable albums.

He's also had several huge singles, and three top 10 albums <- not a feat most acts can boast.

I seem to remember that I liked the song he did that sampled Toto's 'Africa', but I couldn't tell you what is was called TBH.

I never said that Jason's music was better than Chris's.

Steps are horrendous, I hope they never release music again.

I'm sorry but he's absolutely vile. Whatcha Say was his only excellent song.
