There should be a nationwide billboard and advert campaign about this. For heaven's sake, I've been pining for these babies for two decades, and I know I'm not the only one!
Managed to nab some from Tesco online and they are just as lovely as they were. The 'salt n vinegar' branding made me nervous as I've always hated salt n vinegar but loved these back in the day, and I don't think they had a 'flavour' on the pack as such back then. I think that made a lot of us think they were 'fish n chip' flavour, when they always were in fact salt n vinegar.
They don't taste of salt n vinegar in the normal way that's for sure - if they did I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
Soooo happy! Tubes, Puffs, Chicken n Chips and Piglets next I hope!
I must say that I didn't think much of the Curry flavour.
Can't remember trying the Chicken flavour back in the day. Some good flavour options out there if they want to expand the range.

They don't taste like fish, they're salt and vinegar flavour.
They're just shaped like fish and chips.
Must get some then, I love salt and vinegar but not so keen on fish!
BTW for those searching these were NOT in the crisp aisle I got mine in Asda by the Oddities and crackers so check there.
Ive had a packet (for breakfast) and they taste as good as I remember, Oddities S&V do not compare to these.
I might ask at customer services next time i'm in to see if they can check if they stock them.
They were pretty commonplace in the 90s when I was a kid but they probably date back to well before that.
Not the same at all. Nice, but totally different to what I used to get in the 70s and 80s
Oddities are just as nice, if not better.

Oh, Pickled Onion, that sounds nice. Asda is too far from here, so I will wait until they get in other stores.
Curry but no Pickled Onion.

Our Asda is a dive, it really is, I hate it.
I will look out for the Pickled onion flavour. Maybe our pound shop will sell them.
I just found out they are produced by Kraft, have that company got their fingers in everything I like?
