    DS

    Yeah, not a great list.

    Atari 2600

    Atari 5200

    TurboGrafx-16

Sega Master System (outstanding yet underappreciated console that was far better than the original, more popular NES system)

    Sega Genesis

    Playstation

    Playstation 2

    Playstation 3

I think I'm done with console gaming after the PS3. I just rediscovered PC gaming again and forgotten how enjoyable it is (plus many high quality games are extremely CHEAP to buy!).

    Atari 2600
    Super Nintendo
    Sega Mega Drive
    Sega Saturn
    Gameboy
    PlayStation
    Nintendo 64
    PlayStation (again)
    PlayStation 2
    Gameboy Advance
    Super Nintendo (again)
    Xbox 360
    Nintendo Wii

In that order. Swapped my SNES with my cousin for a Mega Drive in 1997, if my memory serves me, i'm sure i got another Mega Drive after the first one burned out. In 2001 i swapped my PS1 (i got the previous christmas) for an N64 with my other cousin, though i missed my PS1 and bought another one out of Cash Generators with my birthday money around May 2002, then was given a PS2 that christmas! In 2006, feeling nostalgic i bought a SNES off ebay with Super Mario Allstars, as it had been 9 years since i last played it :p And earlier this year, bought my sister's Wii off her for 25 quid :D

Spectrum which I can't remember exactly what it was.
    NES
    MegaDrive
    N64
    PS1
    PS2
    PS3

N64 probably my favourite, but at the time I had a lot more time to play. I do love the PS3 as well mind... I don't think I'd rush to get the next generation though.

Found my old SNES in a cupboard the other day and hoping to hook it up soon and see if it still works.

It got me thinking how many different games systems had i owned.

    These were mine:

    Atari 2600
    Sinclair Spectrum 48k
    Commodore C64
    Nintendo Game Boy
    Sega Game Gear
    Super Nintendo
    Sony Playstation
    Sony Playstation 2
    Microsoft Xbox 360

I can remember several friends having different systems such as Amstrad CPC464, Nintendo NES, Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo Gamecube.

    What systems did you have?

Started out with BBC Micro and Apple Macintosh (1) during school holidays, as my teacher dad would 'borrow' them from his department.

    Personally owned:
    Commodore 64
    Amiga 500
    SNES
    Mega Drive
    Gameboy
    N64
    Playstation

The only systems I didn't eventually sell are all the Sony ones, which I still have to varying degrees of functionality.

In some kind of order -

    Vic 20
    Atari 2600
    Spectrum 48k
Spectrum 128k+2 (Built in tape jobby)
    Sega Master System
    NES
    Atari ST
    Game Boy
    Game Gear
    Mega Drive
    Mega CD
    SNES
    PS1
    PS2
    Nintendo Wii
    Xbox 360
    PS3
    PSP
Wii U (when it turns up)

    I think that's it.

The Xbox 360 is head and shoulders above the rest in terms of it being my favourite, closely followed by the Wii as me and me lad can spend hours on Mario Kart.
