I've now received three differing pieces of advice originating from Panasonic.
John Lewis (who supplied the TV last month) advised that Panasonic recommends that a retune was required on 21 April. I suspect that was for Freeview and not FreeSat.
FreeSat Customer Care advised that Panasonic recommends that after pressing the red button it can take 20 minutes before it will work. So if I was watching the Antiques Roadshow, the programme would be nearly over before I could play along.
Panasonic advised be directly to carry out a 'dry retune'; which I will attempt this evening.
