Wenger's contract is up this Summer and his future is not certain. He has stated that he will not consider any job offers until then and that he would consider the England job in the future (if there was a vacancy).

Personally I think with Southgate now in position, Wenger will not be England manager now, purely because the timing is wrong. The earliest Southgate will resign / be sacked now is post the 2018 World Cup, if England fail to do anything.

Wenger is just as likely to sign a new contract with Arsenal then not. Also I am not sure The FA are looking at a non English coach no matter how good they are. Also Wenger is use to having complete control something he is highly unlikely to get with The England Manager job plus he has not exactly been a serial winner lately really he has really been more like England in that his club gets into a good place then fails when it matters. A much more suitable job would be a director of football type role where he oversees development of players etc
