I haven't seen any for ages.
This is a serious question as I remember seeing quite a few years ago.

At the moment, there are seven sets of twins across five branches. The oldest twins are in their 70s and the youngest twins are around ten months old. Only two sets are identical, though.
My grandfather was an identical twin (his brother's still alive). Their own grandfather was a fraternal twin (his sister died during their infancy). My childhood friend was a fraternal twin. Until I was around eight, I honestly believed twins existed in every family. There's a history of twins in my spouse's family as well, but only one set at the moment: his brothers. Fraternal.
Never see adult ones

Probably because they make an effort to look and dress different. They don't spend much time together either as they have lives of their own.
You mean YOU never see adult ones.
Also, perhaps twins stay closer together when they are younger, but once they are older and move out, get their own jobs, partners etc... they aren't walking around together all the time, so you'd never know they had a twin if you saw them.
You probably do seem them, just not at the same time. Being adults, they will likely have their own separate lives from each other rather than living and working together.
So because you haven't seen any for a while they must be extinct? Seriously??? Do you get out much?
I'm an identical twin and consider myself a walking talking dinosaur... and proud!
