Great so the Philth wins again and what is more steals Max's own daughter.

    FFS.

TPTB are delusional to a disturbing degree about this total joke of a character - for example just look at the utterly pathetic, simpering doormat that Sharon has become since she got back with the scumbag (she has also conveniently forgotten poor Dennis even existed).

God I wish he would just die.

I share your annoyance! All the characters are on a constant loop. TPTB seem to find it really difficult to stick the boat out.

Ronnie has a heated encounter with Vincent when he pays her another visit at the hospital. She once again tells him to stay away from her. Shortly afterwards, Ronnie summons Roxy and Charlie to the hospital, leaving Roxy fearful that she wants to tell Charlie that she knows about his fling. Will Ronnie finally confront Charlie?

Later, Charlie reveals that things are looking bleak for Dot as a new witness has come forward to testify against her - the dealer who sold Dot drugs before Nick's death. The man in question is claiming that Dot told him it would be better if Nick was dead. A concerned Ronnie turns to Phil to help with Dot's case.

Meanwhile, Denise and Kim receive a visit from the bailiffs, who warn them to pay their bills or else. Denise goes for a job interview at McKlunkys while Kim heads out to the job centre. Kim is stopped in her tracks when Kat reveals that Vincent is looking for her. A frightened Kim considers leaving Walford, but soon comes face-to-face with Vincent...

Elsewhere, Aunt Babe's manipulations continue as she offers to buy Shirley out of The Vic. Linda initially refuses, so Babe puts a plan into motion to cause further tension in the family. As a result, Linda soon realises that they have no option but to accept Babe's 'help'. Later, Buster discovers the truth about the recent incident at Blades when he recognises the youth behind it, Gareth.

Also today, Bex gets upset when she learns that Martin isn't invited to Sonia's birthday dinner. After another argument with Martin, Sonia learns that he is filing for divorce.

During the meal, Tina makes a speech to an uncomfortable Sonia and a drunken Martin soon causes a scene. When Sonia follows Martin to Ian's, she opens a present from her estranged husband and they end up sharing a passionate kiss.

Because there seems to be some confusion on the matter - Jessie Wallace and Shane Richie filmed their final scenes weeks ago and have now left EE. The characters on screen exits will air shortly. There is no planned date yet for any return.

    No.

"But Dominic told Inside Soap magazine: “We’ve scripted the birth, which is suitably dramatic, of course!

“But ultimately it’s not going to be all bleak for the Carter clan. The storylines we’re playing out on screen at the moment are heavy, but there will be some joy coming up for the family.”

Does this mean the inevitable scene of Philth 'owning' Vincent is so bloody soon?

Or are TPTB avoiding the issue by making him treat Ronnie like dirt instead - whatever happens you can be sure that King Cockroach will be made to look good.

    Yawn.

Mick and Shirley meet up at the café. Mick gives Shirley one final chance to do the right thing by kicking Dean out, but she once again refuses to choose between her sons.

Back at the Queen Vic, Linda urges Mick to move on from the past. She admits that he is dragging her down and needs to move on from what happened for everyone's sake. An upset Mick responds by storming out, but when Linda tries to follow him, she takes a tumble down the stairs...

Meanwhile, as the tension grows between Ronnie and Vincent, he makes a threat that she can't ignore. A scared Ronnie calls Charlie with the intention of coming clean, but she soon changes her mind and covers.

Later, as Ronnie is preparing to go to sleep, she turns the light on and is shaken to find Vincent sitting in her room. She is about to call for help, but Vincent stops her in her tracks by revealing that he knows what happened to Carl White.

Linda regains consciousness after her fall and is distraught when she can't find Mick. Kat spots that Linda is injured and rushes to help, but she becomes further alarmed when Linda reveals that she can't feel the baby move. The worrying situation escalates as Linda's waters break, but Sonia rushes over after noticing the commotion. Sonia immediately springs into action, driving Linda to the hospital and encouraging Carol to find Mick.

At the same time, Buster takes Mick to the café after spotting that he is upset. The atmosphere is tense as they talk about Dean, but just when it seems like they are finally understanding each other, they are interrupted by Carol and she breaks the news about Linda.

When Mick finally makes it to the hospital, it's just as the doctors have finally found the baby's heartbeat. As Linda enters the final stages of labour, she is united with Mick once again and they both apologise over their recent argument. Not long afterwards, Linda gives birth to a healthy baby.

Later, Dean attempts to join the family at the hospital but is stopped by Shirley. Dean is reluctant to back down, as he is convinced that the baby is his and is worried about the child's premature arrival. He ends up defying Shirley's wishes by sneaking off to the baby care unit, where he sees Linda's child.

Meanwhile, Ronnie questions Vincent about what he knows, but she soon realises that he has the wrong end of the stick. Ronnie once again seeks help from Phil, but he refuses to get involved.

Dot's trial continues and Ronnie decides to attend court in support of Charlie, who is giving evidence today. Everyone is relieved to hear that the missing witness still hasn't been found, but it's not long before the trial takes another unexpected turn.

Later, when Charlie gives his evidence, a distraught Dot can't help interrupting. Dot reminds the judge that she is the one on trial rather than Nick, but her behaviour doesn't go down well and she is ordered to keep quiet in court since she has opted not to give evidence herself. Deciding to give her side of the story after all, Dot bravely enters the witness box - but it soon becomes clear that she may have made a mistake when the prosecution turns her own evidence against her...

Meanwhile, Lee is struggling to be upbeat about the baby since they still don't know who the father is. Lee decides not to go to the hospital as he can't cope with the situation, but Mick pulls him aside and assures him that the baby is a Carter. Although Mick may not be so sure of this deep down, his words are enough to convince Lee to head off to the hospital with Nancy and Whitney.

Elsewhere, Shirley is concerned when Dean reveals that he has seen the baby and is convinced that he is the real father. Shirley decides that she wants to see the baby for herself, but when Mick refuses, she goes off to the hospital with Dean and Buster regardless. Mick is unimpressed and orders Dean to leave, but Shirley insists that they need to do a DNA test for everyone's sake.

Also today, Stacey vengefully throws a coffee at the window of Blades as Dean has given her a nasty job reference.

The final day of Dot's trial has arrived and the tense atmosphere leads to Charlie and Fatboy clashing as they blame each other about the mess that Dot is in. Charlie even attempts a last-minute plan by telling Keeble that he murdered Nick, but she isn't fooled so easily and calls his bluff.

Later, Charlie urges Dot's loved ones to stay strong as they all await the verdict. When they are all called back into court, will Dot be found guilty or not guilty of murder?

Meanwhile, Mick assures Linda that they don't need to do a paternity test as the baby's DNA isn't important, but Shirley later remains adamant that the test needs to be done when she catches up with Mick at The Vic. Matters become even more complicated when Linda calls Mick in a panic, revealing that Dean has just arrived at the hospital. Later, Mick talks to a nurse at the hospital and hears of an easy way to discover the baby's paternity. Mick decides to have the blood group confirmed despite Linda's reluctance, but what will the result say?

Elsewhere, Fatima arrives back on Albert Square and declares that she has found a man for Shabnam. Shabnam prepares to meet the guy, Asim, and tells Masood that this is her best option since Kush is so reluctant to commit. However, Shabnam gets second thoughts when she reads a text from Kush.
