LoveFilm on XBox

The TV commercial mentions XBox!

XBox was discontinued in 2006/7.

Just wondering...
How much would it cost to watch on XBox 360?
since there would be three fees:
1, Monthly internet fee
2, Lovefilm £4.99+
3, XBox LIVE (how much is Xbox Live?)

How much to watch on PS/3?

    I'll take the bate :D

Everyone I know now refer to the Xbox 360 as an Xbox.

The cost of love film via BT on Xbox would be , Live Sub £40+ £4.99 x 12+ BT Infinity £26.80 x 12+ BT line rental £13.60 x 12 = £584.68 per year.

    On PS3 = £544.68 per year

    Cheaper to rent from blockbusters.

BTW is the WII the only console that can get on internet for free?

That's a bit like saying, how much does it cost to boil eggs? £1000 - cost of a year's gas. Many Xbox owners will have an internet connection and Gold sub already.

And if you already have a Lovefilm rental sub (which I do, mainly for the games), Xbox streaming is a free add-on.

I'll be pedantic here, to get on the internet for the Wii you still have to pay for a landline and broadband. You can play on-line free if that's what your getting at.

... and cheaper to rent at blockbusters if you were to rent 1 film a week at blockbusters it would cost you £182 pounds per year and only £59.88 for lovefilm. Yes you would to wait a bit for love film to show more recent releases but still cheaper.

If by free, you mean no charges for just being online other than your normal ISP costs, then no it isn't, the PS3 is the same. You can browse the web on both consoles basically "free" (although of course, you still have to pay your ISP).
