This series is scripted you can so tell these housemates are not normal everyday people they have been recruited from their PR agencies. Everything they have said in their VT's is part of their scripts which they wont live up to. They are most likely reading their next scripts for tomorrows show now tonights show is off the air and we have no live feed
What the hell kind of scriptwriting system would include having the actors say something in the VT only to not follow up on it?
God the conspiracy theories are nuts, if the show was scripted why would they produce dud series, why would the include housemates who do nothing and why would they even bother trying to keep up a pretence? The whole point of reality TV is that it is insanely cheap to produce when held up against scripted shows, hence the proliferation of reality shows over the past 15 years.

Well of course you have made very good points. However, don't forget that channel 4 did away with true reality of BB before ch5 got a hold of it.
It was known even in the days of old just how skewed the main show was from the live footage. So from this sense, I understand where the op is coming from.
I don't think the contestants are scripted, but the editing is where any doubt should lie
Since BB moved to channel 5 all the housemates have clearly been recruited from their PR management agencies there hasn't been any normal everyday people. And they have all been briefed on what to say in their VT's and how to act in the house
