Tom Daley has turned into a celeb ****. Most serious athletes have already started dedicating the next four years to training to win a gold on the next olympics. Daley should be at his peak then but I doubt he will even be there, let alone win a medal.
He says that getting a tv show on itv whete "he" is the star is a dream come true. How very very sad.
Very well put - couldn't agree more, and the comment about him wanting to be the star is consistent with stories from those who have worked with him talking about his monumental arrogance and prima donna behaviour.
And as you say, a serious athlete would be focused on Rio, which, of course he isn't. Just another obnoxious wannabe.
Not prepared to comment on Daley's personality never having met him, but he has added two more junior world titles to his collection since the Olympics so not exactly slacking off from training

Yes but remember the best divers he is up against are Chinese. They make their stars train 24/7 can't see them doing reality TV. He reminds me of many of our failed tennis players etc where they don't focus on the training. To win the gold is massive sacrifice and devotion to training like Mo Farah, or Jessica Ennis. They did a few things post Olympics but no long before they are back in training.
Daley just doesn't seem to have the dedication to win gold or push himself to achieve.
Another load of crap from ITV!! they really must think the great brit public will watch any old rubbish,no wonder they got thrashed in the xmas tv rating battle!!!! For god sake give us some great tv to watch again and give the BBC a run for its money!!!!!!!
Judging by his 'tan' I can see why he got a bronze medal.
Oh well, that's his career now. Love Island, Celebrity Masterchef, I'm a Celebrity, SCD/Dancing on Ice, all interspersed with time on the sofa with Schofield and an autobiography each year and a contract with Hello.

There will deffinately be an ex soap "star", an ex footballer, an ex model, someone who had a 1 hit wonder over 30 years ago and someone from TOWIE

and who the contestants are also following it looks like the contestants include
Jade Ewen
Donna Air
Adele Silva
Zoe Tyler
Helen Lederer
Jenni Falconer
Jake Canuso
Leandro Penna
Kenzie
Joey Essex
Eddie Edwards
Omid Djalili
Sounds utterly tragic
The diving bit could work as a Celebrity Games type show that Channel 4 used to do, but not on its own. It will be utterly tedious.
I've heard of two of those people
Yup, Tom, you're certainly the 'star' amongs that lot. Grow up boy, don't squander your talent like this.
I've only heard of 4 of them, and there's only a couple who actually have jobs. It's a worse line up than ITVs "Drop the celebrity"

and is a lot of fun on twitter (seems a lovely bloke) so I'll be cheering him on
Splash. What is the show called? Nose dive? Bottoms up? Rock bottom?
Tom, what were you thinking of?
I give it three episodes until it is moved into a graveyard slot:D

Kenzie  He'll make a spash with those muscles http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a6/whiteknuckle_/Kenzie-From%20Twink%20to%20Hunk/MuscleHunk-Kenzie5.jpg
WHY?!
Plus that line up is utter crap. I've only heard of 3 of those celebs. ITV really need to quit it with using Z-List slebs in their shows!
Vernon Kay and Gabby Logan
at least it's not Schofield
