Disappointingly, there were no post-match interviews or even brief highlights from the Celtic v Atletico Madrid game after the live match had ended.

He does seem to get cut off as he's about to finish a sentence at times but in real life he's a good guy (so I'v been told that people that have worked with him) and he seems to have a good rapport with his guests. Shock horror, his guests last night actually smiled and had a bit of a joke.
His 'early morning sofa' experience of putting guests at ease seems to have translated pretty well (now he's stopped hunching at least), he seems to think he's now worthy of being on there and seemed to have lots of subjects to talk about. Last night it seemed like he could go on forever with points about Man City and Arsenal - felt natural too. A genuine guy who seems to be genuinly comfortable and at ease. They have a guy there who'l be the main anchor at Sky for years to come.
He seems to be loving it tonight too lol
According to the excellent kommentatoren.blog.de, the commentator for Kabel Eins on Standard v Hannover tonight was Hansi Kupper. Tomorrow Sat. 1 will show Schalke 04 v Steaua Bucharest terrestrially in Germany with Oliver Welke presenting and Holger Pfandt commentating from the Veltins Arena for them.
Sky Sport Deutschland/Austria have Twente v Fulham as part of their Europa League Konferenz programme, with the games involving Schalke, Sturm Graz and Red Bull Salzburg being their three full live matches tomorrow as you would expect.
Nice to see you back posting on here AZ_fan.
As for your post Steve, I am no fan of Shepherd and so will be interested to see how the various presenters have come on when I return home for Christmas. When I watch the games in the bar, they only turn the sound on come kick off so I have little clue about the pre-game build up.
Edit: Just seen your post Difference. I've still been reading away. Yes, to confirm it will be Oliver Welke. Andrea Kaiser signed off by saying "Boxing, Football and Motorsport, what more could you want", as they were promoting this weekend's Race of Champions.

...and I've just heard him say, "This tournament has got some interest in Uruguay, as you can just about hear the Uruguayan commentators just behind us".

Unless the Uruguayan commentators are also off-tube in the same room!

Just to say that Mark Chapman presented ESPN's coverage, presumably with both Ray and The Lovely Rebecca getting the night off before a weekend with a Premier League game, an SPL game and two FA Cup games, and more Europa League the previous night.
Has Martin Keown been on the Beeb this season? Maybe he can't be bothered commuting to Salford.

They are using the old MOTD studio set, so I guess they are in London rather than Salford today.

Indeed, more fool me. I wonder if that's the last ever outing of the old set in London, although I dunno why they couldn't do it from Salford, they'll all be up there tomorrow.
Meanwhile, on ESPN now it's TLR with Burley and Alan Wright, and it's blowing a gale in Fleetwood.

Match of the Day Live: UEFA Euro 2012 Finals Draw
Gary Lineker presented from London alongside Martin Keown and Mark Lawrenson
Olga Freimut and Piotr Sobczynski presented from the Palace of Arts in Kyiv
Gianni Infantino conducted the draw with Marco van Basten, Zinedine Zidane, Horst Hrubesch and Peter Schmeichel
Commentator: Jonathan Pearce
I have read elsewhere that for Sky Sports News, Julian Warren presented their coverage of the draw from Isleworth alongside Alan Smith, Glenn Hoddle, Phil Babb and Brian Kerr, with Bryan Swanson being their reporter at the Palace of Arts. According to the RTE website, Darragh Maloney presented RTE Two's coverage of the draw from Dublin alongside Eamon Dunphy and Ray Houghton, with Peter Collins commentating on the draw itself.
