Hey everyone, check out my Tumblr post and tell me what you think
First here is the original picture from the Mars rover Curiosity

No one has looked at the picture with the fossil in it??
You have to look at the Tumblr post. Hmm looks very odd indeed.
Needs testing.
and because it looks like that, it cannot possibly be one.

Must be on his way to the Mos Eisley Cantina
Well worth the countless billions spent on the project. ^_^
Yet here you are ^_^
It not blurred, the first link is to the original RAW image on the JPL website, the second is a zoomed in crop from that image.

Idiot
Not buying that for one moment. You can have natural, exposed conchoidal rock fractures such as this one here http://blogs.agu.org/mountainbeltway/files/2010/11/conchoidal.jpg and they are absolutely nothing to do with life forms of any type.
Furthermore, Mars' early and relatively clement Noachian era only lasted a few hundred million years before planetary conditions really deteriorated and that's not long enough for complex life forms to evolve. The very best that can be hoped for from Mars is trace microfossils of early, ancient microorganisms like Earth's cyanobacteria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanobacteria but such microfossils would not be visible to any Martian rover. Indeed, there's no guarantee or evidence so far that any life ever got going on Mars in the first place.
And that looks absolutely nothing like the object in my picture.
