  What is your software version? Anything less than 1.00.06 and you will have problems, especially if its 1.00.01.
  
  Update asap with a null-modem cable from your PC/laptop.

  It's possible you aren't running the latest software (1.00.06) which fixed most lockup problems, however it seems like you are having more problems than you should even on the old software, perhaps the box is faulty?
