I think it may be the file, because i did burn another avi file to disc with no problems. and if it is the file, why is it? and how can i solve it?!

Thankyou!!

It would be more useful to see the 'details' tab on the file properties to find out how the .avi is encoded etc.

Also are you trying to burn it as a data disk or a video disk? If the latter it could be that the process of converting the file to DVD video format is falling over.

Im trying to burn it as video disc!
I can do it as data, drag n drop simple.
but trying to burn for it to play in a dvd player seems to be the problem.

I mean i did it with a another avi file, but not this one.
I even tried to convert to mpeg, but it still wouldnt burn.

Sounds like Nero doesn't like something in the AVI file. Perhaps the video format isn't one it recognises? AVI isn't a format as such, it's a container spec for audio and video data. The audio and video can be encoded in various ways. So being able to play/record one type of AVI file does not necessarily mean you will be able to play/record another one.
