She's even able to make a self-aware joke in the CBB4 clip I posted. At one point, Russell Brand mentions her family and the Keith Allen documentary, and Lauren has a laugh and says, "Yeah, we're all bloody loony!" I don't think the Lauren we're seeing now on CBB12 would be able to laugh at herself. She'd get defensive and start seeking sympathy and approval immediately.
It's sad to see how much she has deteriorated both physically and mentally in the last 8 years. Either that or she's pulling a great con on our screens right now.
I'm more inclined to think the latter of your sentences taking into account the family she comes from
God I miss BBBM in the Russell days compared to BBBOTs
I forgot how much better it was - this year, with Rylan and AJ, I have completely stopped watching. BBBM was also shorter - BBBOTS is too long so they fill it with rubbish.
