  There was a "who was pregnant" storyline, it somehow transpired that someone thought it was Lauren, Max had found out previously that she was seeing Jake so assumed the baby was his. He went storming round to Jake's shouting the odds at him and Sadie walked in as he was shouting and found out everything.
  Something like that anyway!

  The daughter saw first, but they convinced her to keep quiet, I think, then what mandy211080 said happened, happened. I think. It was so dull I can't really remember.

  Yep it was Max shouting his mouth off. The daughter was convinced to keep quiet but spoke about it after Max had let the cat out of the bag.
