Nancy... Of course he didn't even feel he could talk to you! You abandoned him when he attacked Robbie and didn't even him a second glance. "Man Enough"!? I despise that.

I am really quite angry right now.
She's really a bad friend, and using him as an excuse to sleep around, I hope he tells Darren she wasn't with him
The JP/Nana scene is remarkable. I assume it's been written to give JP some help in the aftermath of everyone finding out? He's got Nana to talk to about it all and can use her strength with what she went through to try and find some himself?
That scene was brilliant, very true to life. And it is very much Nana's character to just brush it off & gain the power. I love Nana, she's 'class' ^_^

I'm quite excited to see Nana and Grace get closer again.
I get that shes angry, its completely understandable but she basically left him alone after the Robbie situation! Grrrr.
When has she been there for him full stop?
Screaming at him that Craig never wanted him only Sarah
Not helping when he's made homeless
Not helping when he's really depressed
Not helping with the bullying and befriending his bully
Where was she when Ste od
And Danny died
Jackie "died"
Myra "died"
Doug and he split

I find the JP/Nancy friendship incredibly one sided. I think JP cares way more about Nancy than she does about him.

Ooof Chels! (Can I call you that? - If you don't mind )
You raise some... well, rather a few amazing points there! I guess... I know Nancy is selfish, bratty and at times really just... "AGH" can be the only word but... I think of all the good times. I guess my favourite recently is where they were at JP's and they just rocked out to "Avril - Girlfriend". That was lovely.

I agree. Before this week's episode where she is comforted by JP, I'm struggling to remember her ever going to his house - I only ever remember JP going to see Nancy either in the Dog or outside it.

I agree, I don't blame JP for not talking to Nancy. I won't either. She's very judgmental.
That was comedy IMO but in a different way to Corrie's 'forced' humour.:)
Thats what I agree with... It was comedy but I think it surprisingly worked and I think we'll start seeing even more to Grace now. I reckon if we can get her away from the club and Big Bob (AHHHH ) She'll be decent.

Excellent point Sez! I would say we're at least 80/20 split with JP being the majority.
Out of interest, how has Phoebe been for you this week? I know you've never been a fan. ;-)

Trevor & Grace are good together, the way Trevor was going on about 'a little prick' made me loool, despite that joke being made hundreds of times in soaps before.
It was just his fear of needles that cracked me up tbf. ^_^

She was there, because Darren threw her out, and JP was cheering her up, nothing nice from her side, he trusted her the whole time, believed she wasn't on drugs, and even after she was found taking them supported her, he was dancing with her to cheer her up

Spot on.
JP has been the friend to her, through out all the pants-ness she has gone through. I know that feeling. I guess thats why I am so strongly on his side...
Wow. By far the best episode of HO in a long while imo.
I was very nearly reduced to tears by the Nana/JP scene. So powerful, and with two incredible actors. The way they focused on the facial expressions while Nana told her story was just spectacular.
Phoebe and Robbie were also great, I just hope they drop the Nancy crap now and let them get on properly. I loved how Phoebe forgave Robbie. I think it was because she knew he was terrified of Finn, just like she was whilst being held hostage.
I hope we still do get the JP and Mercy reveal scene and it wasn't a red herring because I wanted to see that. Mercy and JP have such a nice dynamic so I hope she let's her guard down and comforts him when he tells her about the rape.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel really, really sorry for Diane. When she read that poem..wow. I questioned too myself "what did happen to Finn?" because I really wanted to understand why anyone could do such horrible things. It's not often an episode of television makes me feel so deep:D But any mother would be in denial at this point. Diane clearly isn't going to sit back and say "Oh OK if you say so, I guess my son is a homophobic, abusive rapist".
Nancy...I have no clue why that was necessary. The "man up" line was so horrible I just don't find it realistic that anyone could say that to a victim of male rape ever. I think its interesting that the writers portrayed her as being angry at JP though and having a go at him for not reporting Finn. After all, she had a traumatic experience as well.
But a seriously well done episode all round, THAT is what an aftermath episode should be like. Not the Maxine/Patrick catastrophe.

Me too, I have friends like that, and I just think why can't they see he needs help, looking how terrible he looked before prison any friend would worry about him

The whole Diane looking through Finns old paintings, poems etc was so deep as you say, it was excellent especially when she just cried into them. If I was her or I had a homophobic rapist as a son I'd want to know where it all went wrong too.

I think you may have me mixed up with someone else - I don't think I've ever said that I didn't like Pheobe? I've really liked her scenes this week and I hope she gets some more screen time with Robbie.
