Been watching for 25 minutes and not sure what the point is.

I have not laughed once, but Ricky Gervais laughs a lot at his own lines

Your probable hatred of Ricky Gervais is clouding your judgement.

The podcasts were brilliant, even without the animations, but the animations really add a whole other dimension. PMSL at it.

It's dire, and the terrible animation just tops it off.

Love the animation for Karl! :D

Heard the audio before, but it's still hilarious. :)

I couldn't be bothered with the podcasts but watching this was funny . By that i mean Karl Pilkington was very funny as were the accompanying animations. Stephen Merchant came up with a couple of good lines but not much from RG.

Capitalising the word "is" doesn't make it any more than an opinion.

Started watching it a month or so ago, but then realised its his podcast from like 2006 which for some reason disappointed me

I thought he was in Journey South.

Ricky Gervais is so smug he would eat his own poo.

This is Brilliant, I've not laughed so much at a TV programme in many years.

I'm loving the Monkey News feature. :D

They were all available on itunes back in the day, free then too... there were 12 episodes in series 1, then 6 each in series 2 &3... maybe they're still on there?

Some very funny things in the series, mostly from Karl of course, though it doesn't really need the animation... shame they couldn't have come up with new fresh material, rather than digging up stuff 4 years old!

I'm a big fan of Extras and Ricky Gervais's stand-ups, but I just couldn't get into this show. I watched both episodes tonight and did not find them funny at all. The animation looks lovely, but it adds nothing to the show, it might as well just stay as a podcast.

Watching this now and its hilarious, the animation is wonderful! LOL, at the Cambodian midgets being killed by lion story and Karl's reaction.

Good to see that people who aren't familiar with the podcasts/Karl enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how it would go down with a "new" audience.

For the rest of us, opinion seems to be split. I don't think the animation adds a great deal, but any excuse to listen to the little bald Manc **** talking some bollocks about monkeys robbing banks.
