It is prob infruriating that dirt bag even more because he hasn't tried to sell his story etc (and I'm sure some of these down-market rags would have paid him for it). I can confirm that on the day of the charity sale (2nd May I think) Jodie told a girl called Rachel that she and Matt were an item and she told her about the planned TV show.
I e-mailed Rachel from Kidderminster (living in Corsica at the time) and she admitted to me that she had been aware of it on that day, but being a loyal fan she would not spill the beans.
I would add that both Jodie and Matt have let their loyal fans down badly.

There's also extracts from a letter she wrote him, before the launch, confirming all that, it also seems to have been written by Jodie aged 12.
What i don't get is why he sold his story to More. I would have thought with OK hating her they would have paid him for the scoop. But More magazine - what a let down. Is it an interviw or a hash up of what various friends have said?

Well there's still many people who say he was just as bad, that he was only in in for the fame etc but from what I have seen and read of Matt BEFORE the programme, from Jodie's blogs, all his filming throughout the programme, his body language, the things he said, his reaction to the mtv meeting, what he said during the secret filming and now what he has said in this interview that I believe him 100%.
I really do believe he fell in love with the online/phone/texting Jodie and didn't spend enough time with her in the flesh to get to know the REAL her. he must have been blown away by this seemingly fun, sexy, up for a laugh, great time gal. When he WAS with her inbetween modelling jobs in japan, life must have been fantastic for them, endless trips to clubs, the zoo, motorcycling, theme parks etc (as written in her blogs) and I really believe he fell in love with her and proposed and even wanted it to work after the wedding enough for him to keep coming back to try again several times a week
I don't believe all he was after was the fame because he seemed to be doing ok as he was with his worldwide modelling contracts and the dynamite host party packages. Interesting to note that whenever photographed going to an event with Jodie just before and after the wedding he preferred to stay in the background. If it was fame and media coverage he wanted he would have insisted on being right out there with her by her side in the limelight. If anything..being married to jodie would have hindered his career

I am inclined to agree with you now HBW. At first I thought he was just as bad as her but when the show was on he wouldn't let himself be pushed around by her so it is starting to seem like his version of events is the truth.

I find it hard to believe that he was not aware of how delusional she is but I really do feel, like HBW, that he was in love with her and that everything was exciting in the beginning and it would have been very difficult to finish the relationship when it was being filmed.
