O2 customers are being told to beware what they are saying over their mobile phone as other customers have been connected to other people's phones and able to listen into the call.

They use T-Mobile (Taliban Mobile)
My poor attempt at a joke.... shut up!
So thats where they get their new name from. When a bomb goes off everythings everywhere.
Il get my coat.
At least there is now an explanation for it.....
Just the thought that a very personal conversation could be being listened in to by somebody else without your knowledge is terrible. Why no comment from O2 I wonder?
Their BSC's and RAN's are seperate though.
No reason why Voda should be affected.
Hahaha Taliban Mobile :') http://www.weeville.com/TMAT.jpg

I just nearly wee'd mysefl!
Waaaay in the past it's happened to me on Orange, too, and it must have affected enough people to have news stories on it.

Yeah it is very strange.. Someone has broken something somewhere or GCHQ has buggered our mobile networks
This reminds me of the really old days. When I was a child we could only afford a party line with the next door neighbours. This meant if you picked up the phone and heard them on a conversation you had to wait until they finished.

As expected, it's now being reported by more mainstream news sites.
Bizarre, never had that happen before
As predicted it's being reported in all the papers now. After last years incident where they spewed out users phone numbers to all websites they visited this is a touch embarrassing.

Unfortunately this is not an O2 exclusive fault, I have had it happen on Orange (and it was reported in media). So wavejockglw will be happy since his precious network cannot be singled out for criticism.
