How can you not believe this is recent news? Microsoft have only just now confirmed that it is indeed an exclusive from the duration of the game. How the heck can he have been wrong in his predication if it's just happened, it was probably set in stone as a timed exclusive when he leaked the news at E3 were now nearly into November, EA and Microsoft obviously worked something out way after E3. ]
The developers have been coy about a PS4 release after E3 and even a Steam release. Things clearly have changed.
A prediction is a guess (Often an educated guess) at what will happen in the future, he got it wrong.
I like the way you think meaning - he wanted the game of the PS4 and he thinks it would benefit the franchise in the long term - he's agreeing with HideousGamer in that it will get hurt on the PS4 for the sequels.

Some of you guys are just unbelievable. it's a business mate. He's not going to say anything to upset PS4 fans, in no way does anything he said suggest he's upset over the news. In an ideal world I dear say he would of liked to have the game on Nintendo Wii U also but it doesn't work like that, he said himself they purposely teamed up with MS as they were the only people who could offer them the resources that Titanfall needs. Some of you appear to twist everything in an effort to paint MS the villain, as though Vince's life long ambition was to make games for Sony fans until he was kidnapped at gunpoint and forced to work for the enemy.
Too many "probablys" in your post regarding CBOAT. He made a prediction and it turned out wrong, there's not much else to say about it.
Funny how today suddenly all the xbots are banging on about Titanfall being the second coming.
It was very quiet on the Titanfall front until this new announcement. At least one xbox fan i know has done a 180 today regarding his thoughts on the game. (told me he hated the look of it the other week)
At least it's good news for M$. This will bring in the Cod kiddies.

Funny how people still call those who choose to play on an Xbox as "Xbots" as a negative term and come on, M$?

Am i on neogaf?
Back on topic: we're looking at 2016 before Titanfall 2, anything could change before then.Respawn themselves have said that they have no plans past the first game so i have no idea why everyone thinks a sequel is nailed on?

Titanfall's been eagerly anticipated by many gamers, on numerous platforms, for a number of years. Practically ever since it was announced that Zampella and Co. had formed Respawn. Personally I think it's a shame that the game's ended up being console exclusive, but that sounds like EA's fault rather than Respawn's.
I'd be interested to find out when exactly the game went from being timed exclusive to permanently exclusive. I would imagine it was sometime around when MS couldn't open their mouth without putting their collective foot in it a few months back. Or at the very least that's probably when MS started thinking that they needed to do something to try and tempt some of the more casual undecideds back.

It's quite sad for Zampella and Co. They probably thought they were on course to potentially cause an upset and usurp Cod. Looks like that won't be the case just yet.

If EA are involved, there's bound to be a sequel! lol

With the hype that the game's gotten in the last month or so, had it been on both consoles, I think there was probably a good chance of that happening. A shame, CoD needs more viable competition. I don't really consider BF realistic competition, it's like PES vs Fifa.

You'd imagine that the game would have to perform very poorly for that not to happen. With the hype it's gotten, and the number of pre-orders that are likely.....

Sorry, i meant nailed on for the ps4. You'd think that Microsoft would at least be considering buying the entire franchise and talks will be in place in the future once the first game hits.

If Titanfall becomes the new COD (A billion dollar franchise) I doubt EA will ignore an entire platform with an exclusivity deal. CODs popularity is in part due to it been on so many platforms.
That's true. I'll probably wait till some time next year to buy a console. I believe it's coming out on 360, so all my basis are covered
It he 360 version is being made by an outside team and we are very light on details on how it will differ from what we have seen already.
Hopefully it will be ok, because i still have lots of friends that are sticking with current gem for the foreseeable and would consider getting it on both platforms.
Seriously, I think it'll be a big loss to the PS4. IF, as others have said, it becomes the new COD. Although how the f*k ur expected to camp in a 50 foot robot is beyond me . Ive never seen the point to devs/publishers restricting themselves to one console though. Make your games multi format and reap the rewards. It's all about the $£.

Alright, alright. Calm yer pants. I'm talking about people i KNOW whom have done complete 180s.
M$ is pretty apt after this latest bit of moneyhatting. But i'll apologise for xbots. Sorry that i said xbots.

Depends on when you plan on getting a console. Titanfall's not out until March.

Every single one on the PS3 wiped the floor with whatever the 360 offered.
Haze.
Is someone not taking their meds ?.
Basically cover the cost of at least 1 million lost sales.
So MS would have to have paid EA at least 10 million to 20 million dollars
Yeah but what's to say that an exclusive wouldn't have sold far more if it had been multi format. IMO the only real winner here would be MS.
