Apparently him and his wife moved to a care home for entertainers but not sure about him dying?
ETA: noticed posts about no confirmation, if true my post stands, if not, always best to await confirmation. Given the OP its probably true though.
It's on BBC breaking news so I assume it's true.
Hope davids ok.....
He was utterly chilling as the serial killer John Reginald Christie in 10 Rillington Place.
I thought that was perhaps the stellar performance of his career.
That's so sad.
He was very good and very creepy in the film '10 Rillington Place'
Yes and yes he is David Attenboughs brother.
Those pesky BBC jokers nominating him for a ice bucket challenge.
Shame. R.I.P
Brighton Rock, 10 Rillington Place, The Great Escape, Flight Of The Phoenix, Oh What A Lovely War. Ghandi.
RIP Dickie
I think Jurassic park.
Very good age to get to though
I think 'Pinkie' in Brighton Rock was his greatest performance......but he was in some terrific films
Was he also Director general of the BBC at one point ?.......or maybe Head of BBC Television, something like that......
Very sad.
