Shopping in LA (USA)

Hi

I am planning a trip to LA and love shopping.

Can anyone tell me if its stil cheap to shop in the US. What are the must have brands?? I would like to check out brands that arent available here in the UK.

Please help

    I'm not up on what the hip brands are these days. Grown out of all that crap. You'll find pretty much what you find every where else in the USA. Where are you going to be staying in LA? It's very different from New York and spread out without the public transportation New York has.

    If you are a real fashion horse Fred Segal in Santa Mocia is a must. It was the first store I hit when I first moved there and that was years ago. Browse and take in Melrose Avenue...lot's of Trendy shops and boutiques. If you are going to be in the San Fernando Valley check out Ventura Blvd from Studio City all the way to Encino. Of course there are the malls...
