  Mary's butter-melting/creaming tip worked wonderfully.
  
  The jury is still out as to whether my flour-adding skills are equally successful. My dough is currently resting in the fridge.

  Loved the Masterclass - and it helps to get over the GBBO withdrawal symptoms.
  
  Nothing to do with the superb cooking skills....but...
  
  I really liked the little grey/pink ruffle edged bolero/cardi Mary wore when demonstrating the butter softening....I wonder where she got that? I'd love a little cardi like that

  How come Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood are not fatter?
  
  
  They seem to eat cake all the time. Even if they never eat cake in their personal lives and only eat it on TV, they have still eaten loads of cake.

  don't they have a different setting each year? i know the first series went all round the country - unless i'm imagining that!!!
