WinTV - S-Video over RF?

I know S-Video is supposed to offer better quality, clearly better than RF but is it worth buying a long S-Video cable for a TV Tuner Card. I currently need 2 RFs to get from my Sky+ box to my computer box. The quality is acceptable but not great and soon I'll be archiving to DVD.

Here is a sample quality show of the usual resolution I watch at, and record at:

Would an S-Video cable offer worth while quality increases?

    Yes.
Of course with s-video you will also need a cable for the audio but that does mean stereo sound as well instead of mono on the RF.
Simply put would you connect a DVD recorder to the SKY+ via RF?
    Of course you wouldn't:)

Would the quality be worth it over a 3 metre distance?

Without a doubt, if you are going to master the DVD's at a respectable bitrate then you want the best source material possible and while a well tuned and clean RF signal will do the job s-video and stereo audio is the better option regardless of distance (within reason:) ).
