If amy survives the fire... how do you think she'll react to Ste being gay?
I actually think she will be okay with it, obviously she would find it strange at first but she's from the younger generation and would be more acceptable of him.
I think she would support him 100% especially if she found out he had become the subject of domestic violence.
I think she will survive the fire, I can't see them killing off Sarah and Amy, because that would leave Mike with NO children. That would be cruel.
But she may leave before Ste officially comes out.
Would be a real shame if this storyline didn't go down well, Kieron's one of the few great actors on the show. I also think people might have more faith in the story knowing the actor is gay, but maybe that's just me. I must admit I haven't consistently watched Hollyoaks for about 2 years, the horrendous acting of the majority of the cast just makes my skin crawl so I haven't seen any of this Brendan character, hopefully he and Kieron will have good chemistry.

I agree with you actually because I think Amy is generally a decent and understanding person. Its a shame that she'll more than likely be gone when the storyline properly picks up as I would of loved to of seen the Amy/Ste interaction after she found out him and Brendan.

Kieron will be fantastic, I have no doubt. He has a wonderful ability to make you empathise with Ste. Even when Ste was beating Amy, you hated what he was doing but still somehow felt sorry for him (and Amy, too, of course!).
I remain to be convinced by Emmett. At the moment, I'm finding his portrayal of Brendan more cartoon baddie than genuinely intimidating.
It will be very hard to watch poor lovely Ste getting hit about, though
Ohh imagine Amy's reaction if she's around to see it lol and also Theresa's cos she had a thing with him as well right? wasnt she the last girl to be with him as well (or have i missed something) I can see her taking it personally like most girls, who's ex/boyfriends turn gay, usually do.

Anyhoo I think the storyline sounds fantastic and fair play to Kieron as I've just come out myself and its pretty daunting.
