I watched Season 1, and whilst it was pretty good, I didn't enjoy it all that much. Something is making me not want to watch Season 2. Can someone sell it to me? :kitty:

QUEEN BEA. Danielle Cormack is amazing.

Season 2 is awesome. The finale was just....I have no words.

Its a masterpiece from start to finish.

Best TV I've seen all year put it that way. I just wish it was on a better channel as it deserves greater ratings than it gets on Five.

Am I the only one finding this quite a slow, lack-lustre opening episode so far? :(

I don't like it!!! Cell Block H was the winner.

I've tried watching it - but it is twisting everything around to what I remember!! The characters and and staff are totally different!

At least 'Dallas' revamped their show - and CONTINUED the story!!

This to me is like what they did to Crossroads in 2003 - and turned it into Sunset Beach!

I see your point totally. I also noticed in the credits there is no reference to the original series now, so I guess it's just familiar names, unfamiliar stories. Nothing wrong with that but in spite of the production, the original has something this lacks :(

When I watched at Aussie pace online it did say on the beginning credits it was based on Reg Watsons Prisoner (or words to that effect). Strange it's been cut from the UK version...

It was just a steady paced opener to set the scene and introduce the bitch Joan Ferguson

Me to, I tried watching it and it was so different and weird that I gave up on episode 2. Give me the original any day of the week.

I enjoy it, but I never saw Cell Block so I have nothing to compare it to!

i just saw last night's, i loved it! don't know who i like better, Bea or Frankie :D

is the Freak super tall or Vera teeny tiny though? their height difference was quite something!

love Mr Fletcher and Mr Jackson too. Although Fletch isn't that dissimilar to the original one IIRC.

I was a bit shocked to see the Cunnilingus Scene. A Bit graphic

I'm really enjoying it now I've managed to stop comparing it to Prisoner all the time while I'm watching.

I'm still a bit bamboozled by the way it's clearly not a prequel but at the same time still almost seems to be showing us the backstory of how Bea and Franky became the characters we met in Prisoner. I find it helps not to think about this too much :D
