hmm so when will we actually see the doctor eat his jelly babies? series 4? Anyone remember a doctor that hasn't had a bag of jelly babies?

Actuallly I think Slyvester May have had them as a nod to the past doctor in an episode or two - Im not sure.

Troughton was the first - then Tom Baker. Both McCoy and McGann had them around in the film - more an American attempt to connect with the original show than anything else I thought - rather hamfisted.
Curious thing about that was McGann still had jelly babies on his person after losing his clothes and all his possessions and not going back into the TARDIS. Since he was in America it's unlikely he could have bought them anywhere so that only leaves the possibility of...
