Being left home alone for four days
Never been left alone this long before.
I'm not very glued up and often leave hair straighter on, put metal in the microwave etc.
Have you lot got any survival tips please? Things to do and not to do.
I'll be looking after the dog. My parents are leaving on Friday to go Spain for Easter and won't be back until Tuesday.
Thanks

Oh and remember to feed the dog!
Can I ask how old you are? If you can't grasp simple things like don't put metal in the microwave I wouldn't want to leave you home alone.
Just make sure your parents write down how to use things like the boiler, where to turn the water off if a pipe in the house bursts etc. Also if you/your parents are friendly with the neighbours make sure they are aware you are on your own so can come help if required.
20 in May. I've learnt my lesson now, but I didn't realise at the time that you can't put metal in the microwave. My daggots were
Myth busters proved that's a load of cobblers!

I just often forget the easiest things sometimes. My memory is really bad.
Grow up and take responsibility, it isn't difficult.
Note to dog........book yourself into some kennels
Yeah curious isn't it.
His neighbours are obviously already concerned
Don't encourage him
Or maybe it is!!!!!:eek::p
I heated up a can of beans in the micro when I was about twenty, I just didn't know you weren't supposed to, it doesn't mean you're stupid.
Don't try and deep fry anything.
How can it be. I once put a plate in the microwave that had some metal in it, didn't realise it wasn't suitable for microwaving and it sparked.
Looks like I'm stuck with a weekend of takeaways, playstation 3 and Internet porn.
I've just got to check what the dog has with his food, but I think It's just olive oil.
Yeah I did that. A plate with a golden rim. Next thing I know the microwave is sparking
Why so sad? That sounds perfect!
And no, AppleJuice, there are no ghosts.
But does anyone really know that for sure??? Hmmmm........:p
What is it about parents these days? They seem to keep their offspring completely clueless for far too long! I wouldn't have ever considered ever still living at home at almost 20.
We need to teach teenagers how to do things for themselves, and have some common sense about them. I despair for the future generations if someone can't operate a microwave by their late teens
