Howdy folks :):) Week 10 :o

Sunetra would seem bottom 2 material but stranger things have happened...:D

If so, who out of the closely matched 'elite 6' will join her?

Here we go then my hazarded guess....

This week's dances and songs are below my predictions for your ref ;)

Highest scorer Mark & Karen (!)

Lowest scorer Sunetra & Brendan

Bottom 2 Suntera & Brendan and Simon and Kristina

Eliminated Sunetra & Brendan

Caroline and Pasha will be performing the Charleston to They Might Be Giant’s version of ‘Istanbul’. (TURKEY)
Frankie and Kevin will be performing the Jive to ‘Surfin’ USA’ by The Beach Boys. (USA)
Jake and Janette will be performing the Argentine Tango to ‘Zorba The Greek’. (GREECE)
Mark and Karen will be performing the Salsa to ‘Viva Las Vegas’ by Elvis Presley. (USA)
Pixie and Trent will be performing the Viennese Waltz to ‘Tulips From Amsterdam’ by Max Bygraves. (NETHERLANDS)
Simon and Kristina will be performing the Waltz to ‘Edelweiss’ from The Sound of Music. (AUSTRIA)
Sunetra and Brendan will be performing the Rumba to Michael Bolton’s version of ‘Girl From Ipanema’. (BRAZIL)

    Top: Caroline & Pasha (can't see a Waltz being top of the leaderboard, neither Frankie nor Kevin have a good history with fast dances, Jake's on a hiding to nothing with that music)

    Mmm, let's see.........is it Frankie's turn at the top or Pixie's ?

    Will go with Frankie at the top as she has a nice easy theme, crowd pleaser presumably

    Bottom any two of Mark, Simon and Sunetra ....... with Sunetra leaving ( sadly )

    However, if by some miracle Sunetra avoids the DO, then I can see Mark being thrown out over Simon ( with much wringing of hands from the Judges and loads of you shouldn't be here at all )

    Highest: Caroline and Pasha OR Pixie and Trent. P&T will be top two, it depends entirely on how well Caroline does with what could be the stand out Charleston of the series.

    Lowest: Sunetra & Brendan.

    Bottom Two: Sunetra vs. Mark (maybe Jake with that music, but most likely this)

    Eliminated: Sunetra Out.

    I don't know where this "Frankie can't do fast dances" has come from to be quite honest. She received 32 for her week 4 Cha Cha Cha, 30 for her week 2 Charkeston, 45 (and the first 10 of the series) for her rather fast Paso in week 3, she even danced a bloody fast Tango in week 6 and received the second 10 of the series and gained a total of 37 points overall, not to mention her QUCIKstep last week which received two 10's and an overall score of 37 at Blackpool. I think 32 was a respectable score for her week 7 Samba as we all know how the Samba is seen as the 'death dance' on Strictly AND she had been to a different country that week so missed some training yet she still landed third on the Leaderboard. I think some people are really underestimating Frankie when it comes to dancing Latin - if she flops this week, I'll eat my words (but I highly doubt that'll happen)! Anyway...

    Highest Scorer Jake & Janette / Pixie & Trent / Frankie & Kevin
    Lowest Scorer Sunetra & Brendan
    Bottom Two Simon & Kristina Vs. Sunetra & Brendan
    Eliminated Sunetra & Brendan

    I think Sunetra and Simon will be significantly low on the Leaderboard, I really don't know who'll topmitnout of the others... Anyone could! :D

    Quite a few bottom 2 predictions for Frankie & Kevin.

    Personally I find this quite unlikely but my oh my would it put the cat amongst the pigeons if it did happen...:o:o

    Whilst 30/32 etc aren't bad scores at the current rate/ scoring that would land her 2nd bottom on the leaderboard.

    Also has anyone actually said she can't do fast dances? I thought the main point against her was she was about as emotive as a brick?

    The fourth post in this very thread states that she and Kevin don't have a good history with fast dances. :p

    Hmm, I'm going to guess that the jive might attract more points than the waltz because the speed might go to the judges heads and say...
