USA supporting corruption?

The recent troubles in Pakistan and the instability in the region due to the fading popularity of the pro-west military leader Pervez Musharaff have been a cause for concern both to the US and Britain,
Was it right for US and Britain to put pressure on the regime to reach an agreement with Benazir Bhutto a corrupt former prime minister?
Isn’t this a time bomb ticking away, a military leader and a corrupt politician forced to work together and run a country with nuclear capabilities? Isn’t this just goning to add to the problems in that region in the coming years?

The US supports corruption when it's beneficial to America.

    Wouldn't you ?

The problem is they often end up having a war with them later down the line, just like with the Taliban who are now shooting Americans with guns that were provided by the Americans when they thought the Taliban were preferable to Russia.

Pakistan's dictator, General Pervez Musharraff, will go the way of the previous best friends of the American regime: Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.

Once he has outlived his usefulness to the American cause, that of world domination at any cost, he will be discarded or worse.
