We shall be ready for the greatest sports party on earth.
Some of the events will already have started but in the evening there will be the godawful opening ceremony (no comment on the UK - they are all godawful) before the swimming etc starts the following day.
Great to see some of the facilities on TV today - looking good this far ahead. Those who said they would never be finished on time have gone rather quiet.
