According to the Daily Star, Weasel did not want to sing Sex On Fire following revelations about her Gran being a prostitute, insisting: "It'll be the kiss of death for me."
Simon Cowell praised the 24-year-old, saying: "Only you, after the week you've had, could come out on that stage and sing 'Sex On Fire'."
Weasel humiliated herself every week. I really don't know what shes complaining about :yawn:

Did she dedicate the Jungle Book song to her granny?
Katie got two duff songs, Simon was right about Everybody Hurts, it didnt work...................add that to the fact that they changed the running order in the second half of the show so that Mini Biffa closed the show and it shows IMHO that Katie was stitched up this week.
No great love for the girl, she should have went weeks ago but both her and Wagner have served their purpose, made the Red Top headlines so they were shafted this week
There was more than 1 reason she was bottom 2 so often. Overlooked, was the fact that all in all she just does not cut it vocally.
She was exposed by both songs on Saturday.
Ultimately she will be remembered for the media coverage but not her singing ability.
When is she going to go away? She's off the show now, I'm bored of her.
Her gran isn't a prostitute that's just News of The World's usually over exaggeration.
When Digital Spy "reporters"(I use the term lightly) stop plagerising other tabloids stories I'll bother to read them :rolleyes:.

We regularly hear that acts 'chose their own song this week' etc.
Even with that help she still couldn't be saved
Katie will sit back now and realise she was a puppet for the whole live shows...she wasnt a fighter, she was simply kept on the show by Cowell for all manner of reasons.
She was interviewed on CH5 and admitted it. Next thing you'll be telling us is the world is flat
She generated a great deal of publicity for the show along with her Gran. Yes she was played as a fool by Simon and Co but she was clearly willing to do so otherwise she would have quit.
So true, I actually feel sorry for her now.
