Perhaps all the seated venues were booked? Perhaps they've picked the only venue they could find closest to the original venue so that the minimum inconvenience was caused to travel arrangements? Who knows? None of us, that's for sure, so it's easy to say 'they should have done this, they should have done that'. I do understand people's frustrations about this but I really feel that some of this anger being displayed should be directed at the company that has caused all these problems, namely Multiplex.
i agree with you on that point, however multiplex are not to blame for the fact that the ticket company is not offering to give people the difference back between the two types of tickets, and that inner sanctum members are therefore paying more for the same ticket
Millennium Stadium is free for the whole of september.....Plenty of seats there
there might be rules on only a certain number of concerts etc in a year, so they may not have been able to go there, plus they probably wanted to stay as close to the origional venue as possible, so i am not personally bothered that they have moved it to MK as such,
i just think it is a con that we are expected to pay more for the same tickets as those who bought standing only in the first place, hopefully if they get enough correspondence from people or bad press about it (ie if people complain to them or on other sites, or watch dog/shortchange etc), they may decide to refund the difference, but i am not holding out hope. it is not so much the amount (as if i remember right the difference was only about a tenner each ticket) but more the principle of it
Which is not fair to the fans like me,who wanted to be closest to the front as possible. Hell,i would have paid MUCH more a ticket if i knew which tickets were closest to the front. (Which were supposed to be the ones that i purchased.) They should play it fair and let everybody have an equal chance,if that's the case.People are angry about paying an 'Inner sanctum' fee for basically nothing.
I agree the whole thing has been a farce. I think all Inner Sanctum ticket holders should have some sort of priority, such as a certain type of ticket that allows you in to the Golden Circle if you arrive early enough. I know the circle is probably not big enough to acccommodate all the IS buyers but it seems unfair that people who bought general sale tickets should end up closer to the front than those who bought from Inner Sanctum and paid £25 for the privilege.
I bought General Admission South Stand tickets for Wembley - mainly because it wasn't at all clear which tickets would be best and I thought that with GA at least I had a choice.
The other thing I'm wondering is that if they have chosen MK Bowl why did it take so long, considering the other Wembley concerts that were cancelled were re-arranged within a day. I'd like to know what other options were considered although I doubt we'll ever find out.
I agree, or twickenham if it had been possible, I really didnt want MK, really hoping the weather is good or we are gonna all look like drowned rats, whereas at Wembley i would have stayed dry in the seated area!!!
