Sinus op. involving a balloon?

Has anyone had, or heard of someone who's had this operation to drain/widen their sinuses? I believe it's called balloon rhinoplasty. My doctor is referring me to an ENT specialist and I would like to feel informed with the latest options before hand. Most sinus investigations with the camera/consequent operations and recovery, sound pretty invasive, miserable and downright painful. Thanks for any experiences.
