You scored 12 out of a possible 14.

That's surprising, actually, as I was expecting 8 or 9.

On the whole it seemed fairly straightforward - I wasn't certain about my answer to the final question, but it turned out to be correct..

Eleven out of fourteen...which makes me the winner, because I didn't use numbers in a sentence. :p

    13 - got "team" wrong.

I wasn't sure about that one.

I always knew I was too good to be a teacher though.

Missed the collective interpretation of "pride" as I was thinking about it in the wrong way.

Nine, but I didn't understand half of the questions. I only went to a "Comp" and got a grade C 'O' Level English. However, my Y5 son is doing homophones at the moment!

13 out of 14. I got the 'pride' one wrong cause I wasn't really thinking about 'pride of lions' so only considered it abstract.

    11. I no interest at all in the terms that have been invented to describe English grammar. Gerund, active voice and prepositional are only of use if you are studying the language.
