When I ived in Spain I once bought a portion of suckling pig but when I got it home it had its little curly tail on. My OH had to cut it off before I could cook it.
The thought of that trotter on my plate revolts me.
Talking of revolting, I don't know if anyone remembers the sea urchins from a few years back. They were truly disgusting but apparently are a great delicacy.

My turn to cook tonight. Tempted to go to the butchers and get some pigs trotters and see what reaction I get especially as my sister loves pigs.

I sometimes wonder if Monica isn't asked to choose the most repulsive, bloody ingredients for reasons best known to the producers. I wouldn't go near a pig's trotter (except on the live animal), either raw or cooked.
Skills test has been pretty redundant this series. Very little notice is taken of it.
I mostly watch the skills test with my hands across my face and peeping through my fingers. Greg's facial expression more than the contestants lack of skill makes me do this. Why is he even there, Marcus and Monica are more than capable of shouting out "you have five minutes left .. ".

Yep, agree here. Just adds some variety for the viewers which is why I like it, but barely relevant to see who goes through

IMO this season the skills test could best be described as "the incorrigible shouting about the inedible"
