Ok picture this,

right this very second, billions of years away

is an alien world.

They could be much more advanced..

do you not get fascinated with all the possibilities with whats going on out there?

youre talking about worlds that are untouched by man, so none of our fake religious bollocks has treated on their shores.

alien life... so beautiful yet so far away.

I imagine it like STAR WARS but without the wars.

No. Because they're billions of years away and we will, most likely, be extinct way before they travel anywhere near us.

They still exist, regardless of their contact with us.

    HOW SCARY IS THAT THOUGHT.

    Not really.

The really scary thought is that there's a supermassive black hole at the centre of the Milky Way.

No they don't (at least it's no less likely than they do), so not scary at all.

Well we can't be so naive to think we are totally alone in the universe. Wouldn't make sense. Being the only ones is a SCARIER thought.

We could be the most advanced lifeform to ever live. It is interesting though, at this very moment lifeforms completely alien to us could be, and probably are going about their daily lives completely oblivious to us all.

I would suggest there are more intelligent life forms on this very planet than us. Dolphins being one example.

I'm not scared of something billions of years away that I:

    a. have no real clue as to what exactly they are
    b. am fully aware that they cannot harm me

From what I've read, the boffins have deduced that, given the time since the big-bang and the time it took our planet to become habitable, it's likely that any other civilisations around are fairly close to us, in evolutionary terms.

Personally DS:GD scares me daily. If any aliens were to visit and before revealing themselves came to this website and read all the garbage that we bang on about daily, they would leave in a hurry.

Possibly, Chimpanzees also have a lot of under utilised brain power. There's one in Japan that has learned to master an intelligence test, much quicker than a person.

I can totally confirm that alien life forms do exist as I have a pet Xenomorph kept chained up up in my attic. I just hope it dosen't escape and destroy us all.
