Very funny. Seriously if we thought too much about this - none of us would ever go on holiday! One thing always confuses me. If I was appearing on this programme and knowing the lengths some contestants will go to, I would be buying new linen for the beds at the very least. And definitely a new loo brush:D

Other half said the same to me.
We never go on an inspection, we just form an opinion based on what's obviously visible, but he did say, it makes you wonder what's hidden beneath.

I'd be like you, for a programme like this it'd be well worth re-equipping if not entire redecoration and a professional deep clean.

    All welcome.
I'll need to know numbers though if I'm in charge of the sarnies for the journey

Is it weird that a tiny part of my mind is now looking forward to this :D

PS just seen you there Tina, we might need more than one bottle, especially if BG, Daisy and Hoppy settle down on the back seat :p

Why don’t they do a week where all the be-chipped shoulder people from Blackpool check out each other’s gaffs?

Why such different standards of cleanliness for the different rooms?

    :D

Tonight's looks very quaint. It looks like there was only a cleaning issue in one of the rooms...

Why do some guests mark down on what the owner can't control? I mean are they meant to have someone on fly and spider duty just in case?

I agree I don't think he can do it all himself but he seems quite laid back by it all.

Really starting to dislike Tony and his wife. They are so rude to people!

:Dlol are you volunteering for that role? They were big spiders though and look like they'd been staying there a while with no payment!

You should never check into accommodation and find the bins haven't been emptied
Did Stephen get distracted half way through getting the place ready or does he just not understand?

I like Stephen's tour and at least it focuses on the area and not some random activity that you're never likely to participate in.

I agree you could just tell they wouldn't like the place by the way tony especially was standing with his hands on his hips chip on the shoulder like. It might not be his cup,of tea but he must give it a chance.
