How long to wait for a credit card?

I was pre approved for a credit card a month ago by doing an online application.
I went into the branch with ID and they were going to send off the form i signed,this was 2 and a half weeks ago and not heard anything yet.

Should i phone up and ask or is this wait normal?

    Phone up and ask it does seem a long time.

    you should have had your agreement, pin and card all within a week
