The new local TV service in Southampton was due to start today, but no sign of it. Has it's launch been delayed?

    Launch is in the 4th quarter according to their website http://www.thatstv.com/about-us

    No it wasn't. The mux was due to start today, although it has been running for ages.

    All sources I've seen make it appear that the station was due to start broadcasting today.

    After todays retune it is now in place on channel 8.

    It actually appeared last week on channel 8, but the planned retune has done its job in getting that and other soon-to-launch channels in your channel list!

    The anticipated launch date for the channel itself is 22 October. That is the date when it's licence comes into effect. Until then it will just be a promo loop or similar tests.

    No change. Test transmission. 'Launching soon' as for the last few months.

    Their definition of 'soon' doesn't seem to be in the dictionary.

    Which one are you using? There's a different number on their website to the one on Ofcom's list.

    Heard a rumour that it is delay & maybe ofcom have allowed this but the fact very little is coming out of That's tv is worrying. Notts TV had a great promotion with Mustard & Latest tv fairly active on twitter even before they launched

    There is nothing on the That's TV website that is more specific than Q4 so far as I can see.

    The lack of info emanating from some of these licencees is worrying.

    No real hint from the edit history that they know what they are talking about. Some edits to 2 local schools Wikipedia pages, edits to List of Casualty characters, an edit to the page on Bangers (ie. sausages).

    Nearly two weeks after the due launch date for That's Solent - anyone heard anything? The website is the same as it's been for months.

    That's Oxford is supposed to be launching tomorrow pursuant to its licence but i'm supposing that ain't happening either.
