Listened to the second semi in order and my goodness does Israel JUMP right out at you as the tempo is so slow up to that point. Then Latvia coming immediately afterwards sounds incredibly jarring, but it actually leads perfectly into Azerbaijan as those two songs compliment each other well.
Switzerland sounds completely lost and eaten up by Sweden. Cyprus is sounding like a surprise qualifier. Slovenia sounds great in the pimp slot. Poland is a bit of a strange one to finish on and after the high of Slovenia, it doesn't sound quite right tacked on at the end.

    I would wager the qualifiers from this semi to be;

    Norway
    Israel
    Azerbaijan
    Iceland
    Sweden
    Cyprus
    Slovenia

with Lithuania/Ireland/Malta/Latvia/Poland battling it out for the final 3 spots.

I would say the definite non-qualifiers are San Marino, Montenegro, Portugal, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

I think the Czech Republic is a likely qualifier definitely more likely than Cyprus though I can't call the qualifiers from semifinal 2 because its the strongest 1

And, just like that, I really like almost all of our class of 2015... so brainwashed!

I really wish I could say the same...
There were several I had to mute even during the short recap, as I just can't stand them... (And no, ours wasn't one of them, believe it or not ;))

Watching back any year I think "wow, there are so many good songs." We underestimate how good the songs actually are because we spend most of our time wishing another song had been chosen.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how all the songs come to life live on stage with great production.

    I'm glad someone does! :D

Nah just kidding, there are a lot of songs I love, some that have totally grown on me but there's still a fair few I have to mute! Maybe they'll have grown on me by May...

I usually feel this way too, but this year... well, I can't help but say it's probably the worst Eurovision year for me that I remember, song-wise. Just a couple I really like and too many I can't stand... But I'm sure the show will be spectacular, and I don't need to like most of the songs anyway ;) (And of course, there's still time for some songs to grow on me by May...)
