Not really liking of her or disliking her so far, but shes no Nigella- who shes is evidently trying to be, and is not doing it very well. However the very loud grater did bug me.

EDIT - Now I dislike her, she is very annoying, wtf was that with the cheese. Also, I can't help but feel she has no clue what shes talking about, escpecially when she going on about napoleon.

Same "talking to the director" style as Jamie. Not liking her much, but recipes seem good.

She far too monotone for TV. How can you expect the audience to excited if you don't seem excited?

Yes, that's quite annoying. The food looks nice though :)

She's really getting on my nerves .....

And she doesn't know what she's on about. And why is she pretending to be Nigella?

She is seriously making my fist itch....

The food looks yummy, but all the fluff inbetween is a bit odd unless you happen to be really fascinated by Miss Dahl and her life .... and yes wish she'd stop trying to be Nigella ... she is strangely watchable though and has amazing cheekbones!

    Awful, and her accent grates.

This is from somebody who was also raised in an Upper middle class family.

    Even Raymond Blanc does it

Don't think I'll bother with the prog again, just get the recipes from the web site. Omelette Arnold Bennett this weekend for me!

I get what you mean about her being monotonous, but at the same time I find her voice a bit hypnotic. Recipes were good, but Nigella is a lot better.

The only positive thing I can say is the music was good.

There's something very soothing, hypnotic even, about watching Sophie cook and listening to her speak.

And her food was mouth watering.

Really enjoyed this and look forward to the next installment.

Just read other people's comments and looks like I'm in the minority! Oh well.

I was distracted by the instant impression that Nigella had dyed her hair blonde and forgotten everything she knows about food but that omelette looks lush :o

I partially agree. It wasn't brilliant but I will definitely give it a fair go.

    She has potential, most definitely.

    Nigella rip-off

They just traded Nigella for a younger model (literally)

Oh that's who she's married to, saw a reference to it on the One show, before my usual One Show response 'oh F off' and turning over.
I didn't/won't be watching, found the trailers grating enough.
Nothing campaigning or interesting as far I can tell, give it the swerve.
