What can two twenty-somethings do in Liverpool for the day?

Title says it all!

I am staying with my friend in Manchester for a few days, and i'd also like to visit Liverpool. Being a manc she's not too keen on the idea, but is willing to relent if I can come up with a decent itinerary of what to do for the day! Suggestions welcome. :)

Liverpool is a vibrant exciting city and you'll have a great time. Just ignore the comment re the hubcaps...that was a long, long time ago and I'm disgusted that it was mentioned, even as a joke. A good post by woodbush and it'll help you a lot.

To be fair, there is probably more to do in Liverpool than Manchester, for me Manchester is just about shopping/eating & drinking and not much else. I would imagine your friend is probably jealous, because she knows Liverpool offers more.

That was in Southport. That is like the Bronx of Merseyside.

It depends what you like doing ? Do you like museums, the Beatles, seedy lap dancing bars, slavery, art, eating out ? There is lots to do. Maybe check out Trip-advisors top attractions for Liverpool ?

So out of date - with the preponderance of alloys these days it's full wheels being nicked. Hub caps indeed....
