Yes, I know a made a similar thread about Dell, but I've just discovered this firm. Anyone have good/bad experiences with them?

I got my last 2 PCs from them and spent over £5,000.00 and have not had too many problems and none that were not resolved quickly.

Blimey Annie, thats a fair few quid  one would seriously hope that you did get 1st class service & aftersales support when making a good sized spend like that.

I bet you have a very seriously gorgeous pc though ( with envy)..........

I have heard good things about pcspecialist, I wondered if you could get a good pc from them with a sub £1000 budget?

My Son bought a custom made PC from them. Fantastic service. They even sent all the original boxes for the components in case any part had to be returned.

Got my last PC from them after being told about them by another satisfied customer. I found them extremely helpful when I emailed them several times with queries before purchasing and the PC was then built and delivered very quickly.
    I definitely recommend them :D

Without being too crawly, annie really knows her stuff (and yes, she has a fantastic PC!) so if she rates the site, it's a safe bet I would say.
(Will note for my future PC replacement....) scribble, scribble....

Yeah I bought my PC from PCSpecialist.co.uk about 4 years ago and it's still chugging along fine.

The main reason why I went with them was that I could choose all the components. Since I run linux, I could choose the most compatible options, and also they will dispatch the PC without Windows if you specify that, so I could avoid paying the microsoft tax when I wouldnt be using it anyway.

Very happy with my PC so would definetly recommend them.

I used them a while ago and would never use or recommend them. I had a faulty graphics card and as I had upgraded computer memory at some point they said I must have damaged it which was total BS.

The memory was put in like 6 month prior and didn't go anywhere near the graphics card.

Anyway I would however recommend http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/ which my friend used. No issues what so ever and when the HDD failed (no fault of theirs) they replaced it very quickly without any issues.
