Hi TC & folks!:) hope all are well. Just busy this end - hubby fitting a new boiler - his friend is certified to certify ours - if you get my drift. I'd rather have a new sofa as our current system is fine & hot water is well, hot water.
Daughter getting married at the Canadian Lodge Cardiff on 19 th Nov - busy trying to get answers out of her.:(>:(

Butternut squash with pesto & feta bake ( yup, been catching up on weekend tv:))

Hi TC, we've been in London/ Enfield/ Edmonton on Saturday.

Bought loads of Turkish foods I know etc but couldn't help comparing the price! Still however, cheaper than SW and more choice! Used eldest a son's sports car & diesel while he's ' slumming' it in a 5 star hotel in Mexico - for work.>:(

We did go to a well known Turkish furniture place and buy a new King size bed & 3 piece suite. Some haggling went on but I pretended to be deaf! I couldn't do it! not like the Turk anyhow!:D

Membrillo ; that quince paste Spanish makes so well.:)

Take my hubby TC - he'll fight to the death, price wise!
I can't do it either but it is worth it - we saved £1,000!:o
Goes towards our new boiler! I don't think we need a new system - hot water is hot IMO.
But we've had a deal and legal certification.

Passion fruit curd ( new in M&S) lovely tho' I can't eat it! Calories/ fat content!>:(

Afters TC & my fav people - still DIY-ing here - hubby dared bang one plank of wood , in one loud click on Friday & neighbours of 33 yrs were belting the wall and shouting abuse!:o:( we really aren't stupid & don't even vacuum after 6pm ( if needs call even) as they go these past couple of years. I know they're known locally as ' the Glums' but they really seem to be living up to that name & more. we rarely make any noise to be honest & if we need to we tell neighbours ( once in 33 yrs) - I think these neighbours have burned their bridges tbh. I can't be bothered to speak to them - all work is done according to local council times.
