I was considering learning a programming language and like the look of python.
Anyone here use it? what are your thoughts on it as starting point for programming?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Writing games, apps, web servers web pages all use different languages. Python i more of a scripting language. Good for file and text manipulation and backend web development.
Thank You
Apps on what? Apps are just applications which is all software. What type of "App"?
And learning to code is more than just hitting a few keys and uploading a virus to the mothership, its a logical process which normally starts with some paper and a quick writing down of what you want it to do as an hour working out on paper will probably save you days rewriting code or adding features that you wonder how the hell you missed it when you first started
and when writing it do put comments in the code as just because you know what some code does today doesn't mean you'll remember the exact reason in 2-3 months when you need to alter that segment and cant think why you did what you did
Objective C, I would not wish it on my worst enemy The syntax is like nothing else out there.
It certainly is like nothing out there! Even Lisp is closer than objective c++
