I'll record this as I believe Rumer is included in the lineup. Quite impressed with her debut CD.

Indeed, it's a lovely record! I'll set the PVR now, thanks for the heads-up!

The sad thing is, we've already had this thread in recent weeks. At least once!

Someone was quite upset about the deception.

Kylie and Roger Daltry are apparently on it, so will watch it up to midnight if I'm still awake. Will set the PVR. Never heard of the rest of the lineup though.

I've never understood why people are upset that it's not live. It's never in my recollection been advertised or announced as live, but yet people get mad that it's not.

I've got bad news for them, about 80% of television isn't :D

    Each artist usually performs twice.

I can't watch the false celebrations, but the music performances are usually very good.

Flu suffering by friends has caused me to stay in to watch this.
Not sure if will seem as sincere when I know it's not live.
Suppose it won't stop me tuning in, though.

Will "Jowls" insist on duetting tonight with any half-way attractive female singer?

If so, because of the vast difference in styles, will they have to compromise and meet half-way, selecting something he can't play and she can't sing?

    A classic example.

I remember seeing Plan B on the Jonathan Ross show, he was a stand-in if I remember right. He was really good. I hadn't heard of him before that. The next thing he up in the charts and everywhere.

Wow Alison Moyet! She's slimmed down a lot since I remember her from the 80s and she looks HAWT!

Alison Moyet looks fantastic! She's lost so much weight. I had to Google to see how old she is now because I couldn't remember, and she's 49. certainly doesn't look it.

Wonder how many pints Shaun Ryder's had :D

Yes, looking - and sounding great. According to Wikipedia she is 49.

The 80s seem a very long time ago...

I thought her voice sounded a lot weaker than usual

An interesting selection of artists, as per usual.

I am really surprised by Alison. She is looking really slim and elegant, but her voice is also a shadow of its former self. What a shame. Still, Bellowhead are my favourites and they are the same as usual!
