Wasn't it edited out of certain showings on TV aswell? I used to hate when she said "Don't MESS with the babysitter" - took the edge right off it!

What's there to recognise? It's just one of many 80's comedys that were churned out, nothing special about it, although that's not to say it wasn't a good film, just incredibly "run-of-the-mill" along with the others.
I remember Channel 5 showed it during the daytime and it was beyond horribly edited to remove every single swearword, no matter how mild, and also to remove all shots of the magazine photos, even though none of them were topless, just showing women in bikinis and thongs and the centrefold of Elizabeth Shue fully clothed! Madness. Thank god for DVD!
